- Brush repair gel is a product used to revive and restore the shape of paintbrushes, as well as makeup brushes.
- Brush repair gel is water-soluble and non-staining because it contains a blend of conditioning agents and solvents that work together to reshape and recondition your brush bristles. It's typically applied by gently massaging the bristles with the gel, then rinsing and reshaping the brush. Brush repair gel is used as part of the final stage in brush production to give them their final shape and is a very useful tool for maintaining brush quality and extending their lifespan.
- This product is compatible with brush soap and should be used after removing all traces of paint from the brush bristles.
- Restore the tips of your used brushes and make them like new.
- Contents: 17ml.
- General steps on how to use it:
- Wet the hair of the brush you want to repair with water.
- Apply a small amount of repair gel to one of your fingers or to a clean surface.
- Gently massage the bristles into the gel, working the product through the bristles to the ferrule.
- Use your fingers or a cloth to restore the bristles to their original shape.
- Allow the brush to air dry completely for about 10 minutes before using it again. Avoid resting the brush tip directly against anything, such as upside down in a glass, as this can cause the bristles to lose their shape.
- Before repainting, clean the tip a little with water to soften it.
- Repeat the process after each painting session and your brushes will always be like new.
