- The GSW Kolinsky brush range, Silver Series. Expertly handcrafted with a high-quality wooden handle and a natural Kolinsky hair tip, fused together with a brass ferrule. Whether for hobbyists or experts, the Kolinsky Silver Series brushes will provide a smooth and crisp painting experience.
- Recommended for traditional painting, especially in fine techniques such as washes, glazes, inks and the creation of gradients, Generally, use with more diluted mediums. Not recommended for thinning or dry brush techniques as they can damage the tip. Kolinsky hair guarantees excellent water and paint absorption, as well as outstanding elasticity, making it a highly technical brush.
- Natural hair brushes require more care than synthetic brushes, as their deterioration leads to loss of shape and breakage. To extend their lifespan, it's important to prevent paint residue from drying between the bristles and to reshape them into a pointed form. We recommend using Brush Repair Gel for this purpose. After painting, leave the brushes to rest pointing upwards to prevent the tips from becoming misshapen.
- It is not recommended to use Kolinsky brushes with oil paints, as the thinners and cleaners of this type of paint quickly damage the bristles.
