  • This kit allows you to create highly realistic scale rust effects on models and miniatures. Ideal for model making and crafts.
  • How to use:
    1. Apply the special acrylic paint (AK11266) with a brush to the piece where the effect is desired.
    2. Once dry, apply the oxidizing agent (AK11268)* to the paint.
    3. Let it sit for a while to observe the final effect, as oxidation occurs due to a natural reaction with the air.
  • The oxidizing agent can be diluted with water for more subtle results on your pieces. You can enhance the rust effect with other modeling products such as pigments, acrylic paints, enamel effects, etc.
