    • The gray color used for painting in the Maizuru shipyards was a little lighter than the color used in the other shipyards of Kure and Sasebo; ships made there include the Shimakaze, Kagero, and Fubuki.
    • Very fast-drying synthetic lacquer paint. Very practical for painting large surfaces.
