- Cobra acrylic thinner is specially formulated to adjust the consistency of Cobra Motor paints, making them more fluid without sacrificing color intensity or adhesion. It is ideal for applying thin, clear coats with precision.
- It facilitates the application of even, smooth layers, reducing brush marks or unwanted textures when applied with a brush, and preventing orange peel, clogging, and splattering when used with an airbrush. In addition to effectively thinning paint, it can also improve its adhesion, increasing the durability of the finish.
- Unlike lacquer thinners, which have a strong odor, Cobra Acrylic Thinner is non-toxic and does not give off unpleasant smells, making it safer and more convenient to use at home, even in the presence of family and pets.
- Features of Cobra Motor paints:
- Cobra Motor paints are acrylic-based, but when airbrushed diluted, they behave like lacquers thanks to their high resistance, excellent coverage, and superior flow. Furthermore, their self-leveling properties make them easy to apply with both airbrush and brush.
- Unlike other model car paints, these are non-toxic, reducing your exposure to harmful substances during the painting process. Another major advantage is their high yield: since they require thinning, a single bottle can be used for four or more models, outperforming other brands in efficiency.
- Application tips:
- Dilution: Between 30% and 60%, using A.MIG-2260/2264 Cobra Motor Acrylic Thinner or A.MIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner. For brush application, can be used undiluted or with a little water.
- Handling: Hold the model from the inside to avoid touching the surface, as residue on your fingers can cause imperfections in the lacquer finish. Wear clean gloves, free of talc and dirt.
- Recommended pressure: 1.5 bar/22 psi
