- During World War II, some armies used improvised paints to camouflage vehicles on certain fronts, such as North Africa and the Eastern Front. These colors were made by mixing local soil with a binder like oil, gasoline, or other products before applying it to the vehicles. These paints tended to wear away very quickly due to their poor quality, giving the vehicles a distinctive appearance. Rain and regular use would gradually erode and wear away the paint.
- This product accurately represents that color and produces the same effects as the real color, allowing you to gradually wear it down with a brush and water to mimic the effects of vehicles from that era.
- Use this color for German Army camouflage in Africa (DAK) or for German "Early" vehicles in Central Europe or Russia. This paint features an optimized formula for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush.
- Each jar includes a stainless steel agitator to facilitate faster and more homogeneous mixing.
- Water-soluble, odorless, and non-toxic. Shake well before each use.
- AMIG-2000 Acrylic Thinner is recommended for proper dilution.
