- In the autumn of 1944, due to the loss of German air superiority to the Allied forces, the Luftwaffe changed the colors of its aircraft to greener tones on the upper surfaces. This allowed the planes to blend in better as they flew over European forests. These colors have been the subject of much controversy and have caused many headaches for numerous modelers. This set solves the problem by providing the correct colors without the need for complex mixing. The colors are accurate, although slightly lightened to compensate for the scale effect of any model kit.
- Its water-based formula gives it all the advantages of a lacquer and has been optimized for maximum performance with both brush and airbrush. It is recommended to add 30% Thinner and Cleaner (ATOM-20500) or Thinner and Cleaner with Retarder (ATOM-20501). Among its unique characteristics are its self-leveling properties, fast drying time, and excellent coverage, making it one of a kind on the market. Furthermore, it is extremely durable, allowing the application of acrylics, enamels, or more aggressive products, such as decal fluids, once it has dried.
- These colors come in a new 20ml clear bottle with a new cap that can be opened and closed with one hand. This paint is non-toxic and odorless.
