- Used between 1943 and 1944, Zimmerit was an anti-magnetic coating applied in specific patterns to prevent magnets from magnetic mines from adhering to vehicle surfaces. With these tools, recreating realistic and accurate Zimmerit patterns is easier than ever.

- How to use the tools for Zimmerit:
- Thoroughly mix the epoxy putty until both components are fully combined. Then, spread an even layer over the desired areas, approximately 0.7 mm thick for 1/35 scale.
- Work in sections if the putty hardens too quickly to maintain control over the texture.
- Apply moderate pressure with the roller, rolling it over the surface to create the characteristic grooves. To prevent the putty from sticking to your tools, lightly dampen them with Enamel Odorless Thinner. A.MIG-2019.
- For an uneven texture, make a second pass with the roller.
- Use the pads in hard-to-reach areas where rollers can't be used. In more complex areas, a wedge helps create individual marks.
- Combine rollers and pads to apply Zimmerit to any surface, regardless of irregularities.
