- 6 unsharpened watercolor leads for the LOCK 'N LOAD mechanical pencil. They allow you to create weathering effects quickly and easily. They blend easily with water.
- Set of 6 watercolor leads, ideal for quickly and effectively creating weathering effects on your models, such as discoloration, exposed metal, shading and charcoal.
- The application is incredibly simple and intuitive: the leads are not sharpened, so use a sharpener or coarse sandpaper to create a point of varying fineness depending on the desired effect. Draw the desired effect and blend or soften it with a brush dampened with water. You can also wet the lead tip directly and then adjust the effect as needed using a damp brush. If you're not happy with the result, it can be easily removed with water.
- For best results, we recommend using them on matte surfaces, as they offer better adhesion. These leads can be used to create the final aging effects, but if you plan to apply other wet aging techniques with water or solvents, it's advisable to protect your work with a thin coat of varnish.
