  • It's an extra-fine grain, water-based, fast-drying putty with an extra-hard finish. Specially designed for modeling, it's perfect as a superfine putty due to its adhesion and sanding properties. It doesn't shrink when drying. It can be cleaned and thinned with water. It's non-toxic and non-flammable.
  • It is used to fill gaps and smooth surfaces on miniature figures and other small-scale models. It is applied to the miniature and then sculpted or smoothed to fill gaps or create new details. It is called Liquid Green Stuff because of its green color and its liquid-like consistency when first applied. Once dry, it hardens and can be sanded, filed, or painted.
  • These are the basic steps:
    • Clean the area where you want to apply it. Make sure it is free of dust, oil, or other contaminants that could affect the bond between the putty and the miniature.
    • Apply a small amount to the area you wish to fill or sculpt. You can use a toothpick, brush, or sculpting tool for application. Note that this sculpting material can be thinned with water to make it more fluid.
    • Use a sculpting tool, a brush, or simply your fingers to shape it as desired. Press firmly against the miniature to ensure a good bond.
    • Let it dry. This can take anywhere from a few hours to a day, depending on the thickness of the application and the humidity. Once dry, you can sand or file it to smooth out any rough spots or high points. If you plan to paint it after it's completely dry, clean the surface again so you can prime or paint it directly.
  • It's important to keep in mind that it hardens after a while, so you'll need to work quickly and be mindful of the amount you use to prevent it from hardening on your tools or fingers.
