- A new alternative for artists and modelers who want to create realistic water effects with this Ultraviolet Resin. This innovative gel has crystal-clear transparency and can be pressed directly from the bottle onto your diorama or miniature base to create beautiful replicas of the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds, or pools of water.
- This product is perfect for replicating the sea, rivers, lakes, ponds, and puddles in a single step, straight from the bottle to the diorama or miniature base. It has many advantages compared to other traditional water effect creation techniques:
- Ultra-fast drying gel. This product can be used with a UV lamp to dry in 2 to 4 minutes. On a sunny day, the gel dries in 5 to 10 minutes. On cloudy days, it dries in 20 to 40 minutes.
- It can be tinted. The UV resin can be mixed with one of our Intensity or DYE inks to tint the gel with just a few drops, allowing you to create different types of water, such as swamps or radioactive lakes!
- IMPORTANT! If you wish to tint the UV resin with one of our CANDY inks, it must be applied when the resin is fully cured.
- It doesn't shrink. UV resin doesn't shrink like other materials used for water effects. The amount of resin used is the amount you get when it's completely dry.
- Multi-layered. If you want to create the effect of submerging something in water, you can place several layers on top of each other without leaving layer marks.
- It can be easily cut, polished, and worked. The resin is easy to manipulate and can be molded and sculpted however you like!
- Reduced odor and toxicity compared to more traditional methods.
