- The Vallejo pigment range is a selection of natural earths and synthetic pigments chosen for their permanence and lightfastness.
- Pigments are commonly used to simulate wear and tear on all types of vehicles. This wear can be operational or climatic, and pigments can be used to represent a wide range of effects, such as simulating dust on the tracks and treads of armored vehicles, rust on the vehicle's structure, and so on.
- The range has been selected by expert modelers in order to provide all the necessary tones to represent different climatic and geographical conditions on the terrain of a diorama or model.
- Pigments can be applied in various ways: applied with a brush to the model; dry, as their adhesion characteristics are optimal; fixed with Thinner, to represent dried mud or accumulated dust, and using Pigment Binder, in case the modeler wishes to create an effect of some volume, such as accumulated mud.
- The utensils can be cleaned with water.
